SUNO TUBE is the logical evolution of the SUNO WOOD collection for hospitals and care facilities.
Effective stacking in combination with a chaining system also makes it suitable for events. The soft and curved lines of Suno’s seat and backrest provide a high level of seating comfort and both support and freedom of movement is provided through its ergonomic design. Visuals, functionality and longevity are united in SUNO.
SUNO OUTDOOR uses the same ergonomic, functional and hygienic benefits of SUNO for the garden, the terrace and the balcony in a Health Care Centre.
The consistent furnishing of the project is archievedby its colourful and simple design. It is outstandingly weather-resistant, due to its powder-coated stainless steel tube construction. Its thermos-polymer seat and back panels features rainwater slots that prevent water from collecting on the seat.

SUNO TUBE is specially designed for patient-oriented areas inside healthcare centres. The collection is available with and without armrests and a variety of upholstery variants.
The wood, or polymer, in the seat and back allows the
individual to choose seats of their interests, thus enabling the usage of this seat in the cafeteria, common rooms or even for events. SUNO’s “plus” and “extra” versions offer more space and stability for the user.
The stackable SUNO TUBE collection can optionally be equipped with a row linking system, which makes seating for public events possible. The armchair chair of the SUNO TUBE collection is also available on castors.

S-CURVE – lordosis support and freedom of movement
In a joint study with doctors, occupational therapists, ergonomists and nursing staff, for SUNO, the S-Curve was developed by paying special attention on the ergonomics of the seat and back for people of an advanced age.
The characteristically shaped backrest supports the lordosis in the lumbar region and allows freedom of movement in the shoulder area due to the curvature of its backrest. This property lengthens the time of fatigue free sitting in a relaxed posture whilst keeping an upright position.

SUNO’s “plus” and “extra” versions offer a wider seat and further stability for the user. The armchair with the recessed grip withstands weights of up to 250Kg. SUNO “plus” measures a distance of 58cm between each armrest, whereas the SUNO “extra” measures a distance of 75cm. SUNO “plus” and “extra” are
optionally available with backs and seats in moulded plywood, thermo-polymer or a back padding.
extra strong tube frame on casters
The armchair of the SUNO TUBE collection is also available in a particularly strong version on castors. This allows a special use in the therapy rooms. Due to its stackability, it also acts as a substitute for a stacking cart.

Removable and washable upholsteries can be used on the seats of the SUNO TUBE collection. The cover can effortlessly be removed by a zipper prior the washing process. Antibacterial and resistance properties are even retained after a wash with temperatures of up to 60 degrees Celsius.
water-repellent fabric
If the SUNO TUBE collection is used in health care sectors, the use of the water
repellent fabric cover that is covered with a special moisture protection is
recommended. The seat can be separated effortlessly by removing four screws, if a thorough wash by the staff in the designated areas within the hospital is needed.
rowlinking system
The stackable SUNO TUBE collection can be equipped with a row linking system which makes seating for public events possible. The certified system complies with all international standards and is securely
connected to the steel frame construction. After use, the system can be stored without creating any excess surface irregularities by sliding the components under the seat.
