O.F.B.
A grill with enormous heat from above makes steakhouse quality possible at home. The gas O.F.B. is a special infrared gas grill which reaches temperatures of up to 970°C within minutes and enables everyone to grill the perfect steak quickly and easily at home.
The collaboration with the Otto Wilde Grillers started in March 2015. At that time the company was not even established, - 4 founders and the idea of bringing a infrared gas grill onto the market.
The Industrial Design Studio decided not to answer the question about a shape with an extended StatusQuo, but to rethink this product typology from scratch in terms of technology, functionality and design. We invented the O.F.B. and convinced the Otto Wilde Grillers. They launched their first Kickstarter campaign.
The small company has now grown into a large team and we are proud to be inventors, designers and supporters in the product development of the entire portfolio. In addition to the O.F.B. Original, O.F.B. Premium, O.F.B. Lite we also designed the E-O.F.B., a the grill stand, various accessories and of course Ottos platform.
- Two steplessly and separately adjustable infrared gas units that can reach temperatures of up to 970°C.
- A particularly large grill area of 32.5 x 26.5 cm fits all common steak cuts, even the biggest Porterhouse steak.
- Flexible height adjustment for precise and comfortable grid allocation.
- The quickly and easily removable top makes cleaning particularly easy and enables the transformation from a gas to an electric grill for indoor use at any time.

Accessories
For the O.F.B. we have designed extensive accessories that can be stowed compactly in the grill. This includes a pizza stone, grill grates, cutting board, a cover and a transport box. In another project, we also designed furniture for Otto Wilde and the O.F.B.
